At 6:15 on August 30, Yantai Meteorological Observatory issued the yellow warning signal of rainstorm in Zhifu District, Laishan District, High tech Zone and Kunyu Mountain Nature Reserve: under the combined influence of warm humid air flow and weak cold air at the edge of subtropical high, it is expected that there will be heavy to rainstorm and local heavy rainstorm in all towns and streets of the four districts from this morning to tomorrow during the day, accompanied by thunder and lightning and 7-9 thunderstorms and gales. Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds on urban operations and industrial and agricultural production, as well as the possible small and medium-sized river floods, mountain floods, and geological disasters caused by heavy rainfall.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorms in accordance with their duties;

2. The traffic management department shall adopt traffic control measures on heavy rainfall road sections according to road conditions, and implement traffic guidance on road sections with stagnant water;

3. Cut off dangerous outdoor power supplies in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open areas, and transfer people in dangerous areas and residents of dangerous houses to safe places to avoid rain;

4. Check the drainage system of cities, farmlands, and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures.
