At 4:25 am on June 3, 2026, the Zhijin County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that in the next 6 hours, towns (streets) such as Shuangyan, Wenteng, Jinfeng, Sanjia, Qimo, Babu, Guiguo, Yina, Heitu, Shixing, Maochang, Niuchang, Shangpingzhai, Machang, Huaqi, Ziqiang, Longchang, Daping, and Nayong in our county will experience thunderstorm weather, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents. Local areas will also be accompanied by strong convective weather such as strong winds and short-term heavy precipitation. Please pay attention to staying away from large trees, corners of walls, or places with protruding metal objects. Do not hold objects with metal sharp corners upside down in your hands or carry them on your shoulders. Relevant departments should do a good job in lightning response and strengthen the prevention of disasters and accidents caused by lightning activities.

Zhijin Meteorological Station Releases rainstorm Orange Warning

At 4:13 on June 3, 2026, Zhijin Meteorological Station downgraded the rainstorm red warning signal to rainstorm orange warning signal: it is estimated that the rainfall in Shixing, Wenteng, Guiguo, Maochang, Daping, Longchang, Huaqi, Machang, Nayong and other towns (streets) in our county will reach more than 100 mm in the next three hours, accompanied by strong convective weather such as thunder and lightning. Please pay attention to the prevention of secondary disasters such as waterlogging, mountain torrents, landslides and debris flows that may be caused by rainstorm, do a good job in the safety inspection and reinforcement of reservoirs and dams, strengthen the troubleshooting of hidden dangers in disaster prone areas, waterlogging prone areas and densely populated areas, as well as traffic facilitation and drainage and waterlogging prevention in waterlogged areas.
