At 11:58 am on August 6, 2026, the Zhijin County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that thunderstorms will occur in tea shops, Jinlong, Babu, Guanzhai, chicken farms, Santang, Agung, Shaopu, Baini, Xiongjiachang, Shuangyan, Wenteng, Zhuzang, Jinfeng and other towns (streets) in our county in the next 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents. Local areas will be accompanied by strong winds, short-term heavy precipitation, hail and other severe convective weather. Please pay attention to staying away from large trees, corners of walls, or places with protruding metal objects. Do not hold objects with metal sharp corners upside down in your hands or carry them on your shoulders. Relevant departments should do a good job in lightning response and strengthen the prevention of disasters and accidents caused by lightning activities.
