At 12:56 on June 20, 2025, the Altay Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the morning to evening of June 21, there will be gusts of up to level 8 westward in most of the valleys and plains in Altay; Kekebuka, Seretier, Muhurtai, and Kaerjiao towns in Jimunai County, along the Ertix River in Habahe County, Kuastek town, Kekesun Mountain, Omartao, and Jiangawuzi in Burqin County, Sarhusong Township, Kalashilik Township, Baribagai Township, and Cherkeqi Township in Altay City, Wulunguhu Lake area and Huangwolhai in Fuhai County, Dure Town, Karabulgen Township, Kurt Township, Qiakurtu Town, Kizilxilike Township in Fuyun County, and Saltohai Township in Qinghe County, with gusts of up to level 9, please strengthen prevention measures. (Wind force level is Pu Shi wind force)

Description

It may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind force of 6 or higher, or gusts of 7 or higher; or it has been affected by strong winds, with an average wind of 6-7, or 7-8 gusts and may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job of preventing gale in accordance with their duties;

2. Close doors and windows, reinforce hoardings, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, properly arrange outdoor objects that are easily affected by high winds, and cover building materials;

3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures, such as returning to the port to avoid wind or sailing in a detour, etc.;

4. Pedestrians should avoid riding bicycles as much as possible, and do not stay under billboards, temporary structures, etc. when the wind is blowing;

5. Relevant departments and units pay attention to the fire prevention of forests and grasslands.

新疆维吾尔自治区气象台2025年6月19日16时5分发布雷电黄色预警信号：目前，伊犁河谷、塔城地区、阿勒泰地区、克拉玛依市、石河子市、昌吉州等地的局部区域已有雷暴云团生成，预计目前至今天夜间，上述区域和乌鲁木齐市、巴州北部、吐鲁番市、哈密市北部等地的局部区域发生雷电活动的可能性较大，局地伴有短时强降水、8级及以上雷暴大风、冰雹等强对流天气，请加强防范。
