At 19:30 on March 16, 2026, the Golmud Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for sandstorms: it is expected that from 20:00 on March 16 to 08:00 on March 17, there will be sandstorms in Wutumeren Township, Golmud City, Golmud Town (including new areas), Cha erhan Industrial and Commercial Commission, and Dagele Township, with visibility less than 1000 meters, average wind speed of 5-6 levels, and gusts of 7 levels or above. Relevant units and personnel are requested to be prepared for prevention.
