Harbin Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for heavy fog

At 5:30 am on September 2, 2025, the Harbin Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog: currently, fog has appeared in the main urban area of Harbin, Shuangcheng, Hulan, Acheng, Binxian, Bayan, Mulan, and Tonghe, with local visibility less than 500 meters. It is expected that fog will continue in the above areas in the next 6 hours. Relevant units and individuals are requested to pay attention to prevention. In addition, visibility in other areas ranges from 3 to 7 kilometers.

Description

Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.
