The Houma Meteorological Observatory will continue to issue a yellow warning signal for road icing at 11:25 am on January 2, 2026. The warning area is all townships, towns (streets). It is expected that there may be road icing affecting traffic in the warning area within the next 24 hours. Please prepare relevant units and personnel for prevention. Defense guidelines: 1. Transportation, public security and other departments should prepare for road icing according to their responsibilities; 2. Drivers should pay attention to road conditions and drive safely; 3. Pedestrians should avoid riding bicycles when going out and pay attention to anti-skid measures.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
