On May 12, 2024 at 06:47, the Huichang County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow lightning warning signal: it is expected that within the next 6 hours, some areas of all townships in our county will have lightning activity, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds and other strong convective weather. Please take precautions. Please avoid thunderstorm periods for public travel, work, and outdoor operations. Do not take shelter under trees or metal objects outdoors, and stay away from metal doors, windows, and live equipment indoors.
