Rainstorm yellow warning signal updated by Chengdu Meteorological Observatory

At 10:30 on June 24, 2025, Chengdu Meteorological Observatory continued to issue the yellow warning signal of rainstorm: at present, the rainfall in some towns (streets) of Wuhou District, Jinjiang District, Qingyang District, Chenghua District, Jinniu District, Qingbaijiang District, South High tech Zone, West High tech Zone and East New Zone in our city has reached more than 50 mm, and it is estimated that the rainfall in these places (above 10 mm/h) may continue in the next 6 hours. Please take precautions. Up to now, Pidu, Xindu and Shuangliu have issued yellow rainstorm warning signals, and all districts (cities) and counties will issue warning signals in due time according to the weather development.

Description

Rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 6 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorms in accordance with their duties;

2. The traffic management department shall adopt traffic control measures on heavy rainfall road sections according to road conditions, and implement traffic guidance on road sections with stagnant water;

3. Cut off dangerous outdoor power supplies in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open areas, and transfer people in dangerous areas and residents of dangerous houses to safe places to avoid rain;

4. Check the drainage system of cities, farmlands, and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures.

成都市气象台2025年06月23日16时00分发布暴雨蓝色预警：预计23日晚上到24日晚上我市有一轮强降雨天气过程，大部分地方有大雨到暴雨（40～70毫米），个别地方可达大暴雨（100～150毫米），最大小时雨量30～50毫米。其中，23日晚上以分散性强对流天气为主，24日白天到晚上为主要降雨时段。降雨时可能伴有雷电、短时强降雨和6级以上阵性大风等强对流天气，请注意防范。
