At 21:30 on August 9, 2026, the meteorological station of Kaihua County upgraded the yellow typhoon warning signal to the orange typhoon warning signal: under the influence of typhoon "White Dolphin", it is expected that all towns (streets) in our county will have obvious storm processes from the night of August 9 to 12, including rainstorm to heavy rainstorm from the night of August 9 to 10; Strong winds of 5-7 levels and locally 8 levels or above may occur. Please pay attention to preventing secondary disasters such as small watershed flash floods, geological disasters, urban and rural waterlogging that may be caused by heavy precipitation, as well as the adverse effects of strong winds on construction projects, facility agriculture, transportation, high-altitude operations, etc.

Description

Within 12 hours may be or has been affected by tropical cyclones, coastal or land average wind force is 10 or more, or gust force is 12 or more and may persist.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop large-scale indoor and outdoor gatherings, suspension of work, class, operation, market, and business (except for special industries);

3. On-water operations in relevant waters and passing ships shall return to the port to avoid wind, strengthen port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, grounding and collision;

4. Reinforce or dismantle structures that are easy to be blown by the wind. Personnel should stay in a wind-proof and safe place as much as possible. When the center of the typhoon passes by, the wind will decrease or remain static for a period of time. Remember that strong winds will suddenly blow, and should continue to stay. Take shelter from the wind in a safe place, and promptly transfer people from dangerous houses;

5. Relevant areas should pay attention to preventing mountain torrents and geological disasters that may be caused by heavy rainfall.
