Qinzhou Meteorological Observatory issues yellow lightning warning signal

At 9:25 am on July 12, 2025, the Qinzhou Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal for the China Malaysia Industrial Park, Qinnan District, and Qinbei District: Currently, there are thunderstorm clouds developing and slowly moving towards the north on the sea surface from Sanniang Bay to Qinzhou Port in Qinzhou. It is expected that lightning will occur along the coast and near the sea surface of Qinzhou, in some towns in the China Malaysia Industrial Park, Qinnan District, and Qinbei District in the next 6 hours, and may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, and other severe convective weather. Please take precautions.
