The Shangyu District Meteorological Observatory of Shaoxing City issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 12:33 on May 26, 2026: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, strong lightning and short-term heavy precipitation have occurred in Hangzhou Bay. It is expected that strong lightning will occur in the towns (streets) of Jingkai, Gaibei, Songxia, Daoxu, Xietang, Yiting, Yonghe, Fenghui, Lianghu, Dongguan and other areas in the northern part of our district from noon to evening today, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation and 6-8 level thunderstorm winds. Please pay attention to safety and avoid outdoor activities as much as possible.
