At 18:24 on October 17, 2025, Suqian Meteorological Station issued a blue rainstorm warning signal: it is expected that rainstorm with a 6-hour rainfall of 50 mm or more will occur in Sucheng District, Suyu District, Hubin New Area, Economic Development Zone, Yanghe New Area, Susu Industrial Park, Shuyang County, the north of Siyang County, and some villages (towns and streets) in the north of Sihong County this night, accompanied by gusts of about 7 levels in the local area. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau (Disaster Reduction Office), Water Resources Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind to take preventive measures.

Rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 12 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.
