At 20:29 on June 18, 2026, Suqian Meteorological Station issued a blue warning signal of rainstorm: it is expected that there will be 6-hour heavy rainfall of 50mm and above in most villages (towns and streets) of Sucheng District, Suyu District, Hubin New Area, Economic Development Zone, Yanghe New Area, Susu Industrial Park, Shuyang County, Siyang County and Sihong County, accompanied by 30-60mm hourly short-term heavy rainfall and local thunderstorms of about magnitude 7, and other severe convective weather. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau (Disaster Reduction Office), Water Resources Bureau, and Meteorological Bureau jointly remind to take preventive measures.
