At 12:45 on August 19, 2025, the Tori County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that from this afternoon to night, there will be lightning activity in Kupu Township, Dorat Township, Akbeilidou Township, Wushete Township, Tiechanggou Town, Miaoergou Town, Hatu Town, and the southern mountainous areas of Tori County. There is a high possibility of short-term heavy precipitation, hail, thunderstorms of around level 9, and strong winds. It is necessary to take preventive measures against secondary geological disasters such as flash floods and mudslides in local areas.
