[Red Warning of rainstorm in Jiangcheng District and Yangdong District] Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, there has been heavy rainfall in Baisha, downtown and Hongfeng in the past hour, of which 107.9 mm was recorded by Baisha National Meteorological Observatory. It is expected that in the next three hours, heavy rainfall will continue in our city, accompanied by strong convection such as lightning, short-term heavy rainfall and short-term gale in some periods. Yangjiang Meteorological Observatory will upgrade the orange warning signal of rainstorm in urban area, Baisha and Hongfeng to red at 23:52 on June 16, 2025. The orange warning signal of rainstorm in Jiangcheng and other towns and streets in Yangdong District, and the yellow warning signal of rainstorm in High tech Zone are still in effect. Please pay attention to the prevention of heavy rainfall and its possible urban and rural waterlogging and geological disasters.

Thunderstorms will be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall and short-term strong winds and other strong convection. The Yangjiang Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds in Jiangcheng District, Yangdong District, and Gaoxin District at 22:53 on June 16, 2025. Please pay attention to defense.

Description

It may be affected by thunderstorms and gales within 6 hours, the average wind force can reach 8 or more, or gusts of 9 or more accompanied by strong lightning; or it has been affected by thunderstorms and gales, the average wind has reached 8-9, or gusts of 9-10 accompanied by strong lightning, and may continue.
