At 11:58 am on May 8, 2026, the Yujiang District Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that within the next 24 hours, due to the influence of cold air moving southward, gusts of up to 7-8 levels will occur in Chuntao Town, Dengbu Street, Gaogongzhaiying Forest Farm, Huaqiao Town, Huangzhuang Township, Huangxi Town, Jinjiang Town, Liujiazhan Township, Maquan Town, Yangxi Township, Zhongtong Town, Honghu Township, Pingding Township, Longgang Street s rivers and lakes, plain valleys, and high-altitude mountainous areas.
