省水利厅与省气象局8月14日11时联合发布山洪灾害风险蓝色预警:14日20:00至15日20:00，受降雨影响，常宁市西南部，洞口县东南部，绥宁县东北部，武冈市西北部，北湖区南部，桂阳县大部，宜章县东北部，嘉禾县大部，临武县东北部，零陵区东北部，冷水滩区南部，祁阳市南部，东安县东北部，宁远县东部，蓝山县北部，新田县东北部、西南部，金洞管理区东南部、西北部，新晃侗族自治县大部，芷江侗族自治县西南部，靖州苗族侗族自治县大部，通道侗族自治县西部等地可能发生山洪灾害，请上述地区加强防范，注意做好实时监测和预警叫应等防范工作。

湖南省气象台2025年8月14日8时升级发布暴雨橙色预警：预计14日8时至15日8时，湘南、湘西南大部分地区将出现暴雨，其中怀化南部、邵阳南部、永州中南部、郴州南部局地大暴雨（100~180毫米，局地200~250毫米），并伴有短时强降水（最大小时雨强60~80毫米）、雷雨大风（局地阵风8~10级）等强对流天气，请加强防范。橙色预警区域：怀化中南部、邵阳中南部、衡阳中南部、永州、郴州。
