垫江县气象台2026年8月3日0时40分更新发布“暴雨橙色预警信号”，过去1小时，桂溪街道刘家湾降雨量已达47.5毫米，预计3日0:10-6:10，桂溪、桂阳、桂东、澄溪、太平、砚台、五洞、高峰、新民、沙坪、曹回、周嘉等12个镇街降水仍将持续，累计雨量50～80毫米，最大小时雨量40～70毫米。此次过程从2日18时开始，过程最大累计雨量可达80～120毫米，局地伴有雷电、阵性大风，请注意防范。
