The Linjiang Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 6:43 am on August 20, 2025: It is expected that in the next 6 hours, some towns (streets) in our city may have moderate to high intensity lightning activity, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents, or be accompanied by severe convective weather such as hail, thunderstorms, strong winds, and short-term heavy precipitation. The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly remind everyone to take preventive measures.

白山市水务局2025年08月19日10时45分发布山洪灾害气象风险蓝色预警：8月19日下午至20日白天，浑江区南部、临江市、长白县可能发生山洪灾害，请相关部门全力做好山洪安全防范和防御工作，加强值班值守，做好山洪监测和巡查，适时转移群众，确保人民生命安全。公众防御提示：1.汛期出行，要合理规划行程，尽量避免在雷雨天气出行，或者选择绕避路线，远离河道、山区。在山区突然遭遇山洪袭击时，要沉着冷静，以最快速度撤离。脱离现场时，“方向对，跑得快”，选择就近安全的路线沿山坡向上跑开，千万不要顺山坡往下或沿山谷出口往下跑。2.山洪到来时，来不及转移的人员，要就近迅速向高地、楼房顶、避洪台等地转移，或者立即跑上屋顶、楼房高层、高墙等地避险。有通信条件的，可利用通信工具向110或119报告洪水态势和受困情况，寻求救援。
