The Lishui District Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued an orange typhoon warning signal at 00:28 on July 12, 2026: Due to the impact of Typhoon Bawei, the 9th typhoon of this year, it is expected that there will be strong winds in our district from the 12th to the 13th. On the 12th, the maximum gusts in most areas of our district, such as Jingqiao Town, Hefeng Town, Baima Town, Honglan Street, Shiqiu Street, Yongyang Street, Dongping Street, and the Development Zone, can reach 9-10 on land and 10-12 on the water surface, and may be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation. Please pay attention to prevention.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop large-scale indoor and outdoor gatherings, suspension of work, class, operation, market, and business (except for special industries);

3. On-water operations in relevant waters and passing ships shall return to the port to avoid wind, strengthen port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, grounding and collision;

4. Reinforce or dismantle structures that are easy to be blown by the wind. Personnel should stay in a wind-proof and safe place as much as possible. When the center of the typhoon passes by, the wind will decrease or remain static for a period of time. Remember that strong winds will suddenly blow, and should continue to stay. Take shelter from the wind in a safe place, and promptly transfer people from dangerous houses;

5. Relevant areas should pay attention to preventing mountain torrents and geological disasters that may be caused by heavy rainfall.
