At 18:32 on January 27, 2026, the Qitai County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for heavy fog: it is expected that from now until 20:00 on the 28th, fog with a visibility of less than 500 meters will intermittently appear in the urban area, Dongwan Town, Daquan Tatar Township, Kan erzi Township, Xidi Town, Wumachang Township, Sanzhuangzi Town, Qiaoren Township and other areas of Qitai County, and the visibility in some areas will be less than 200 meters, which will have a significant impact on transportation. Description
Fog with visibility less than 500 meters may appear within 12 hours, or fog with visibility less than 500 meters and greater than or equal to 200 meters may have appeared and will continue.
