At 16:04 on June 17, 2025, the Urumqi County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that there may be lightning activity in Saardaban Township, Shuixigou Town, Gangou Township, and Banfanggou Town of Urumqi County from now until night, accompanied by strong convective weather such as gusts of about 7 levels, short-term heavy precipitation, and hail. It is recommended to take precautions.
