At 10:46 am on June 30, 2026, the Urumqi Meteorological Observatory issued an orange high temperature warning signal: it is expected that the highest temperature in most areas of Urumqi will reach over 37 ℃ from June 30 to July 3, and the highest temperature in some areas of the north of the city, Midong District, and Ganquanbao will reach over 40 ℃. The fire risk meteorological level is high, and precautions should be taken.

The maximum temperature will rise above 37°C within 24 hours.
