At 16:18 on July 22, 2025, the Zizhong County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: Currently, lightning activity has occurred in some parts of our county. It is expected that there may be lightning activities in Shizi Town, Ma an Town, Mengtang Town, Chenjia Town, Gaolou Town, Shuanglong Town, Longjiang Town, Citizen Town, Shuanghe Town, Mingxinsi Town, Xinqiao Town, Shuinan Town, Taiping Town, Yinshan Town, Falun Town, Luoquan Town, Longjie Town, Qiuxi Town, Tiefo Town, Yuxi Town, Guide Town, and Chonglong Town within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents, accompanied by local short-term heavy rainfall and gusty winds. Please take precautions against the hazards caused by lightning, strong winds, and heavy rainfall, and suspend outdoor collective activities, high-altitude and water operations.
